NSF Research Coordination Networks in Undergraduate Biology Education (RCN-UBE) program solicitation
NSF has released a new solicitation (NSF 18-510) for the Research Coordination Network in Undergraduate Biology Education program (here). The goal of the RCN program is to advance a field or create new directions in research or education by supporting groups of investigators to communicate and coordinate their research, training, and educational activities across disciplinary, organizational, geographic, and international boundaries. Two types of RCN-UBE projects are possible: up to five-year, $500k projects and one-year, up to $75k, "incubator" projects. Proposals are due 30 January 2018. Prospective PIs should contact a cognizant NSF program officer for more information.
