Authors write about CourseSource Lesson results in a recent article published in the International Journal of STEM Education

Congratulations to CourseSource authors Joseph Dauer, Heather Bergan-Roller, Nicholas Galt, and Tomáš Helikar of the CourseSource lesson, Discovering Prokaryotic Gene Regulation by Building and Investigating a Computational Model of the lac Operon, who recently published an article about how the use of this lesson impacts’ student mental models! Their work, published in the International Journal of STEM Education,  investigated how this lesson, using a computational modeling activity, “affected introductory biology students’ mental models of a prokaryotic gene regulatory system (lac operon) by analyzing conceptual models created before and after the activity.”
